Guide to inflating an Orbeez Ball quickly and easily

Step 1: Prepare the necessary equipment

To get started, gather all the materials you'll need to inflate your Orbeez balls. Here's the list of essentials:

Orbeez balls: buy a bag of Orbeez balls in the color and quantity of your choice.

Container: choose a container large enough to hold the beads once they've swollen. A salad bowl, large soup plate or plastic box will do the trick.
Water: you'll need water to swell the marbles. Tap water is ideal.

Step 2: Put the Orbeez in the container

Once you've gathered all the necessary materials, pour the Orbeez beads into the container. Avoid overfilling the container, as the beads will need space to swell properly. If you've bought several bags of beads, it's a good idea to separate them into several portions before starting to inflate.

Step 3: Add water

Now that your beads are in the container, it's time to add water. Carefully pour the water over the beads until they are completely covered. You don't need to measure the amount of water precisely, but the more you add, the more the beads will expand. So don't be afraid to be generous with the water.

Step 4: Let the beads absorb and swell

Once the beads are immersed in water, they will begin to absorb it and gradually swell. Depending on the size of the beads and the amount of water added, this can take from 30 minutes to a few hours. To check if your beads are ready, observe their shape: when sufficiently swollen, they will adopt a round, uniform shape.

If you're in a hurry, or just want to get results faster, here are a few tips to speed up the swelling of Orbeez balls:

Use warm water: the beads will absorb water faster if it's lukewarm or hot.

Be careful not to use boiling water, however, as this could damage the beads.
Stir regularly: gently stir the beads with a spoon or by gently shaking the container, to help all the beads absorb the water.
Add a little salt: stir a pinch of salt into the water before pouring it over the marbles. The salt helps to soften the beads, making it easier for them to absorb the water.

Step 5: Drain the Orbeez beads

Once your beads have reached the desired size, it's time to drain them. You can use a colander or sieve to do this. Gently remove the excess water, taking care not to crush the beads. Alternatively, wipe them lightly with a clean cloth or paper towel.

Store your Orbeez beads

If you want to store your inflated beads for future use, it's important to store them properly. Place them in an airtight container with a little water to prevent them from drying out. You can also place them in a freezer bag and store them in the fridge.
